8.5 miles for the big track,
a little over 1.5 for the Pee Wees.

Patman Video Crew will be on site.

| Directions |
North
outta the metroplex. I take I35E to Denton, then 380 ( just north of
Denton ) west to Jacksboro.
Some of
you may take 287 north out of Ft.Worth to Jacksboro. Either way follow 287
into town, and take a left at the first light which will be 380 west
again.
Follow that to
Bryson ( population five hundred something... ) and look for a right turn
which will be 1191. The track is 1 mile on your left.

| Description |
I like this track. Hard ,Wide, and Fast!! With plenty of
hip and shoulder room. And yes this is what I said about
South Bryson...go figure, they're only about 3 miles from
one another, and the same track cutters did both tracks.
Bur who cares? The Track is slightly different from
the last time we rode it, and the changes seem to be for
the better...er faster.
It's
mostly hardpack with a silt covering. There are a (very )
few rocky sections. Maybe a few more than South
Bryson, And of course, one tree section ( one or two
trees ).
I'm
gonna gear for speed and use a intermediate to hard tire
with +3psi.
Seriously, it may not be too dusty, with the rain we've
had recently.
This
one seems to have just a bit more terrain and elevation
change than the South, and there are certainly more
chances to get your scooter off the ground here.
I
measured 8.5 miles on the gps,
The
track cutters on this crew have got it together as far as
markings go and you'll find them closely spaced, out in
the open, easy to follow, and generally excellent.
The
PeeWee track follows suite, and is over on the east side
of the campground rather than on the south side by the
gate as it was last year.

| Camping |
The camp area is large and flat..and smooth as well.
And you may even find a few trees to park under if ya get
there early. The ground seems to have plenty of grass and
the recent rains should only help it out. Watch for just a
bit of standing water in the biggest open area of the main
camp ground north and west of the pee wee
area.

Lots of roads and access to the racetrack. But please
let's watch what we're doin' and not risk anyone's life by
playin' chicken with an oncoming racer, I've circled some
of the road crossings on the map so please don't be the
one we all point fingers at 'cause ya pulled out in front
of a racer. |
